Privacy Policy — Dram

In short
Dram collects no personal data. The application has no advertising, no tracker, no analytics and no user account. No information leaves your device because of the application.
What is processed, and where it lives
The values you enter — volumes, strengths, temperatures, saved batches, bottles, names and tasting notes — are stored on your device only, in the application's private storage. They are sent to no server, ours included.
The only permissions the application declares are those the Google Play components require: network access and reading its state. The application itself opens no connection — no server, no account, no analytics. That list is public on the Play listing; you can compare it with what this page says.
If Android backup is enabled on your device, your settings, batches, bottles and the photos attached to them may be copied into your Google backup, according to your Google account settings. That backup is managed by Google, not by us, and we have no access to it. The entitlement to the paid features is deliberately left out of it: it belongs to your Google Play account, not to the device.
Photos
You can attach a photo to each bottle record, taken with the camera or picked from your gallery. It is stored in the application's private storage on your device, never in the gallery and never in a shared album.
It is re-encoded and downscaled when saved. That re-encoding strips all EXIF metadata, and with it the GPS position a phone photo often carries: that coordinate never enters the application — not on disk, not anywhere else.
It is deleted with the record it is attached to, and is never included in a share or an export — sharing composes a plain-text message, the export writes a CSV file, and neither carries an image.
It is part of the Android backup, like the records that reference it, if you have that backup enabled. Without it, a record restored onto a new device would point at a missing image.
The application declares no camera and no storage permission: taking a picture is delegated to the system camera application, and picking one to the Android picker. You can check this in the permission list on the Play listing.
Export and sharing
The export feature writes a CSV file into the application's cache, which you then choose to share with the application of your choice. The file goes nowhere until you decide to send it, and its destination is entirely your choice.
Sharing a dilution or your cellar follows the same principle, without even a file: the application composes a plain-text message and hands it to the Android chooser. Nothing is written to disk, nothing passes through any server of ours, and we know neither what you send nor to whom.
Purchases
The one-time Amateur + purchase and the Pro subscription are both processed by Google Play. We receive neither your identity, nor your payment details, nor your address. The application simply asks Google Play whether the purchase, or the subscription, exists for the signed-in account. Data processing related to those transactions falls under Google's privacy policy.
The free seven-day trial goes through no server at all: its start date is stored on your device and nowhere else.
Google components used
The application uses three Google Play components, all provided by Google: billing (one-time purchase and subscription), in-app review requests, and in-app updates. These components communicate with Google Play and fall under Google's privacy policy.
Children
The application concerns alcoholic beverages and is not intended for minors.
Your rights
Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing held by us to access, correct or delete. Uninstalling the application erases the local data. You can also delete each batch, each bottle and each photo individually from the Workshop.
